E90 m3 18 winter tyre sizes
Discussion
Hi all, I have the 18inch 219 alloys on mine that have 265/40 rear tyres. The alloys are 18 and 9.5 wide and I want to get some winter tyres. Seen a set of winters for sale on a set of 219 alloys which will make it easier to swap each year but the rears are 255/40 instead of 265/40 is that ok, better or bad for winter etc?
Ok so still thinking... I have found a great set with what is the square set up above on 18's but as I have 18's already with 3-4mm on my summer tyres I'm thinking why not change to winters on the current set up (cheapest option) and get some 19's for the summer ?
Are the 19's much harsher than 18's even with the adaptive suspension?
Any recommendations to which 19 set up would be best for summer???
Should I just stick to the 18's all year round?

Will these fit on the 219 alloy sets, they are off a Porsche cayman and on eBay there are a few sets at good prices. The only difference to my current tyre set up is the fronts are 235 (winter) and 245 (summer)
