F10 M5 oil usage

Hi,

Anyone else with an F10 M5 care to comment on engine oil usage? Mine seems to be chewing (drinking?) it.

I popped in a couple of litres a couple of months ago which put it at mid/high level, and already i am getting a warning light saying it needs more.. Unsure on amount as not had time to place it on the flat, but i suspect it is below the minimum amount.

Thanks for this. It is possibly due to the car not warming up completely on the run into work (when i pitch up).

I am up to 19600miles on it.

Purchased second hand. No idea about previous ownership (beyond V5 / BMW history / numbers still stored on the quick access buttons on the radio..)
