Good afternoon all

Yes I'm new

Some of you may recognise my username from other BMW forums. I currently own an E60 M5 which is my "toy" and the result of many differences of opinion with SWMBO.

Couple of pics for anyone interested.

Although I've no intention of parting with the M5, I'm seriously considering adding an M6 coupe/convertible to the stable.

I've read the various deals being offered through Peter Vardy and broad speed etc which is mainly what got my attention. I'd probably keep the car 3-5 years and am not looking to finance it.
Having looks at BMW AUC it appears they are pricing cars based on the RRP and not the actual prices people are paying for new cars.

Has anyone been successful in low balling a main dealer on physical stock? I'm not looking to pay peanuts but I'd like the best deal possible.
I'm happy to pay a premium for comp pack and carbon ceramic brakes.

With the facelift (albeit minor) coming in from models produced from June, surely existing stock must be due another down turn?

Apologies for all the questions, basically I'm after advice/opinions to get the best value for money.

Thanks in advance
Bruno

Apologies if I wasn't making much sense.

Looking at AUC prices, it seems to me that although a substantial saving on RRP is evident, the savings on new prices through options such as broadspeed aren't as big as they should be.

I was wondering If people are doing better deals on AUC stock than prices advertised as may go that route, if not, I think I'd rather buy new.

Thanks again for the replies.

That's a nice looking car but I'd be after a late comp pack model tbh.

I may well go new, but I'm inclined to agree with the above. I think I'll wait until March/April and keep checking AUC, if any cars currently available (that suit) are still there it's gotta be worth a low ball cash offer with the facelift being 2 months away.

If I do a great deal on an existing car, happy days, if I have to pay more or less what the advertised price is, I'll go new.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone gets a good discount on an AUC car in the mean times
