E63 M6 - Oil When To Top Up

Hey,

So i have read its best to top up the oil when the car asks as it could mess with the sensor. I currently have a reading of 0.3 on my dash but no prompt yet. When does it usually pop up? Should i be concerned? Just don't want to mess things with the beast

Ahh brilliant, is it best to just wait for it to ask or best to keep on top with the additions of minimum 0.5? Want to keep it in top condition...
