Hi all.

Some guidance/help please.

I don't know much, if anything, about the earlier M3's but have always loved the E36 shape in M guise which incidentally was the first M car I was ever driven in. Thought it was terrifyingly quick !

What are your thoughts on this car?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/b...

Does it look original?
Is it too much? About right?
Any known faults/weaknesses?
Are they the original alloys?
Anybody else thinking of selling?
And lastly, anywhere else I should be looking?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance.

Hi. Yep, seen your thread and car. Best colour for an E36.

Why sell so soon?? Looks like you're getting to grips with everything now. Still got the M6?

Nice car. Check what chassis work, vanos, arp rod bolts and shells has been done before considering it at that price etc.

This is my 3.0.

They do seem to be going up in value.
You thinking of selling ? Or just teasing !!

Lovely looking car there

I think it's nice

What are you buying for?

Investment? To drive or what?
A lot of polishing, a bit of driving around and plenty of track days.

That would be the smarter route for sure but............I'd much rather have the M3

Blimey, that's a quick lap! Strong driving there Jim.

If you don't mind me asking what do you think you have spent to get the car where it's at now?

Hi Gents.

Just to bring this to a close.....I have decided not to buy an E36.

Still on the hunt for another car but a totally different flavour.
