Hi all

Been looking at an M6 Coupe however after a couple of weeks negotiating someone stepped in and bought it. Yesterday the dealer rang me about an M6 GC they had just got in "AUC".

My question is does the GC retain the "M6" image or is it a bit more subtle. Not seen the GC but my gut feeling is to wait for another coupe. Viewing tomorrow

headache

Thanks

performance is not really an issue as both models will have enough for me smile

size not a problem as I currently drive a 640d coupe

just wondering if the GC is as much of a "beast" in appearance

OK, search on hold until I get back onshore in 10 days. In the meantime I have been doing a bit of reading. Is it true that the "M"'s use a fair bit of oil , 1ltr/1000 miles ??

Day before I came off-shore was offered a good deal on a new M5 but didn't have time to pull trigger, however was impressed with test drive so thinking of taking that route to M car ownership

Thanks

Read of a few people who were quoting 1Ltr added every 1000 miles and wondered if this was the norm, apparently not smile

Wills

Is that per handbook ??

Have read a few comments that it is better to drive them hard for the first 1K miles ??

Thanks Wills

Think I may of worded my last post badly ( in a rush)

What I meant was driving the car hard but within handbook guidelines as opposed to barely revving them for 1500 miles. Appreciate your experience and if I manage to get one I will do the same beer
