After 6 weeks of test drives and searching the web for a suitably specked M5/6 a decision has been made
None of the cars I have seen has ticked enough boxes to make me pull the trigger, so I have an appointment later to negotiate a deal on a new build to my spec. The dealer is aware of the price I am willing to pay so fingers crossed he can get somewhere near, if he can I will order today ................... EXCITED !!!

The "price to change" is key for me. Pretty sure I can get a decent discount of the M5, its how much of that discount I will be financing through depreciation on my 640d (6 months old )
Was unable to make yesterday so rearranged for Saturday. If the price is right I will pull the trigger,the dealership know me well so hopefully loyalty might swing the deal in my favour

My 640 was sitting in the showroom when I bought it so I got a good deal on it. Prepared to take a hit ,but will not give it away. If cost is too high I will happily walk, the 640 is a great car with a good spec, driving it for another 12 months will be no hardship ....... BUT ITS NOT AN M5

Took a bit of a hit "as expected" on the 6er but got 19% discount on the M
Its cost me, but nothing I can not live with

Was my local dealer, don't think it would be much help to anyone else's bargaining as it was based on the amount of business my family and I have put their way over the last 10 years . I have seen how much they are making out of the deal and its not much. My loyalty to 1 dealer has come up trumps more than once, very happy
