My E60 M5 was stolen overnight from a friends house in East London/Essex borders. No glass anywhere so I assume there is a way of getting into keyless cars without breaking any glass.

It's pretty distinctive in that it is Moonstone in colour, probably one of less than a handful in the UK I'd guess.

Please keep your eyes peeled and anyone who's got a keyless car, be warned if you didn't already know of the risks.

Good idea re a drive around, and unfortunately no tracker frown.

They left this behind. Is this off the OBD port or something they left behind?

Thanks all. Yes it had comfort access.

I'm hearing that the scumbags have something they can insert into the door lock which sends a signal to open the door (presumably without the alarm going off)? I guess they then code a new key from the OBD. I always thought they would have to force entry into the car, which would involve some noise and maybe the car alarm going off - evidently not.

Randomly I'm sure I saw one this colour heading towards brough on the A66 on friday?

I was with D4MJT out on a jaunt.
That's interesting as that reg doesn't come up with anything on the DVLA site. Are you sure that was the registration?
