Evening All,

I am looking for a new toy a my wife has an X5 and in storage I have a late 1999 E36 Vert with 65K miles but that is really to bring out in 5-10 years time when I am older and its a classic smile

I have been looking around and I can't get the 1M out of my head as I have always liked them and then values just do not seem to budge.

I can understand the price as the reviews were great and the QTY is so small for a main stream production vehicle that it does point clearly towards 100K mile examples being worth a lot of money in say 15 years time so I really do understand the prices but does anyone see these staying the same or from a cost point of view is it a case of if I don't buy soon they will only increase slightly?

Also are they as good as the hype from people who have driven them or for the money is looking elsewhere in the M range a better bet? I was going to look at an M5 but can't bare the fact my £40K car will be worth £25K in the not too distant future, which I am hoping the 1m would avoid.

Thanks in advance and if anyone has experience of these cars it would be great to hear your views.
