I need a couple of rears for my F10 M5 - and will fit Michelin PSS to replace existing PSS.

The issue is that I can source the correct size at a decent price and get them in a day or so - but they do not have the 'star' which apparently denotes they are BMW specific.

My stealer has quoted a price for the BMW specific tyres with the star but they are 50% more expensive and it looks like a lead time of 4 or 5 weeks, or pay double the price to get them sourced by BMW Germany and wait 10 or 12 days.

How important is the star rating? Or any other suggestions?

So ordered non- star PSS and including fitting they will be about £195 each for 295/30 r20 101Y. Probably cheapest rear tyres I've bought for nearly 10 years.

Perhaps you should book it in for another set the week after biggrin
