F10 M5 runs hot ?

Hello all,
Had my F10 a few months now and it's growing on me more and more.
One thing I have noticed is that the car seems to generate more heat than other cars I've had of similar power and use.
On my relatively short daily commute to the station of approx 6 miles the fan then kicks in and stays on for quite some time once I park up.
Does anybody else notice this and is it normal ?
