Hello everyone

Ive got a 56 plate Z4M and changed all 4 tyres about a month ago. Anyway about 2 weeks the car has started pulling to the left quite a bit! definitely not just road camber or steering wheel centring and it happens at even low speed. Read a bunch of forum posts about how its meant to do that etc etc so bit the bullet and took it to goldenwheel for a full alignment.
results before

results after

As you can see the left front camber is still quite a way off being normal. I pulled the guy up and asked him why he hadnt managed to do a better job and he insisted that it would not budge another millimetre and this was the best he could do.

My question is. how bad is it? just an annoyance or a sign of something more serious. the mechanic reckons it was the car being used to the old tyres as the reason i didnt notice and also it mainly being a one person car causing the imbalance. to be honest its not that much of annoyance i just want some opinions as to whether i need to take more serious (wallet affecting) action.

thanks a lot for any help anyone can offer!

cheers
nik

Hi

I went to them based on a previous pistonheads recommendation so would assume they were ok. I didnt check the tyre pressures beforehand and the car has done 50k miles. Since ive had the car i havent hit any kerbs or anything. In fact i hardly ever drive it! Its been absolutely fine up until about a fortnight ago

Not sure about weighting I assumed (being my first visit) that they would follow the correct procedures for carrying out the work

I know for a fact that something was done with the front camber as before they did anything to the front camber the 2 aluminium pins were intact and afterwards were not and you can see where they have tried to adjust the angle.

Im guessing i need a second opinion?

thanks again
