The lack of traction in the car has pretty much been its most frustrating trait. Other than that 30 months of ownership has been great. Wouldn't get another until AWD was available. Will still have another RWD Bmw but one with less power as its wasted most of the time. Went to overtake today with the kids in the car, traction light before I had crossed the white lines , then a tesla followed expecting me to go 3 figures but the conditions or cargo didn't allow. No doubt the Eco warrior was laughing !

Seats are fine in mine, and the split rear seats was a great option being able to 'throw' a bike in !

No mine has 19 inch wheels, was thinking off the line they are very fast but when three figures come they would struggle.

Anyway it's not a thread about a tesla, just poor traction in the M5. AWD hot hatches can keep up with it in certain conditions so renders 560bhp useless 10 months of the year .

/\ Tried that as well, better but it doesn't escape that fact that the car in the UK climate struggles to get it's advertised power down.

Still a good car, and I love BMW's. Its alway's been a trait of high power RWD but this much is wasted.

M5 XDrive for the next release?
