M240i looks quick

I'm surprised BMW didn't do more to distance the M2 from the M240i. Given you can get a thumping discount on the M240i there is quite a price difference. Yet the M2 has a similar interior and the M240i gets the new B58 engine giving it virtually similar performance. Ok on a track the M2 will set the faster time but for everyday driving it would be nip and tuck
