Is an M5 number plate too obvious?

I was considering getting an M5 number plate as they are pretty cheap at £250 including transfer cost from the DVLA website. However it occurred to me that one of the things I've enjoyed about this car is its Qcar quality. I was even considering debadging it. I love the way most people don't notice it, but people who appreciate cars do. Will an M5 number plate ruin that, or would most people still be oblivious?
