Just ordered a M240i (waiting list for the M2 to long)

Really like the black front grill on a few cars however BMW have quoted £600 fitted which sounds crazy !

I'd like the OAP how difficult etc is it to acquire / fit

Crumbs !

That's them !

Also like the dark carbon wing mirror covers I've seen on YouTube videos. Don't want to much bling however BMW's prices are ridiculous.

Agree as I've recently spent 2k on an exhaust (back box) fitting + including a couple of other bits on my Elise S. Just seems bloody expensive for the grill including fitting. I'll have a look at those sites

How long is the wait?

Mine was a pre-reg (4.11.16) with 4 miles on the clock from Chester.

Enjoy your car !

Findings thus far :

Superb build quality (real feel of quality)
Different (already had comments from people asking) "what is it !"
Car pulls very well in any gear and if I'm honest feels as quick as my 2005 997 911 C2.
Real big car feel (complete car)
I actually don't miss not having a sports car. This was the biggest thing for me to get my head round. I've had Porsche, Lotus (Elise's, Exige, 2 11, Evora) Ferrari, etc

Another finding,

Even under smooth (hard) acceleration it's a bit lively in cold/ damp conditions. I was surprised upon coming off a roundabout the other evening.

Sounds like you're having fun smile Car looks great.
But are you getting Mrs. B a new jacket, not sure the pink really goes with the Grey !
LOL !

She has enough ! She loves Pink. Actually on that subject she drove it yesterday for the 1st time, "it's so smooth and powerful". I'll have to have a quite word.

Still surprised, don't see many about thought I'd see more if I'm honest. It's a cracking all round car
