BMW z3m coupes
Discussion
Saw one of these on the road today and I must say, they are stunning little cars!
How rare are these things?!i must've only seen a handful, ever and a few together at a car show in Tatton Park last summer.
What do you guys think will happen to the value of these cars? Just literally 2 years ago these were quite a bit cheaper. It now looks like a good one will cost around £20k and a low mileage immaculate car near twice that?!
I'm considering buying one to enjoy on the weekends. I know the z4m will be a tighter, more refined car as it is newer but do seem to catch sight of the odd one a lot more often.
Thoughts...?

I owned a z4mc a couple of years back after buying from a good friend when he moved away. Again, lovely looking car, great engine and an event to drive. I however did not like the gearbox, seats and feel of the steering in my hands.
Having driven a z3mc I can agree that the 4 is a better all round car but you would expect it to be.
For me though, the z3mc is one of the best looking modern BMWs. As far as styling/look goes, the z3mc wins easily.
I prefer the seats, the old school feel of the gearbox.
Would be good to have a price thread for the cars based on the past 2 years. Looks as though £20k for an average/usable example in decent condition is going to be the norm real soon.
The car looks different to anything else, has a great engine, good classic car performance-it's probably a good time to buy before prices hit rediculous.
Anybody have pictures of theirs? Haven't seen much variance in the wheel choices for some reason. Most tend to keep to the standard factory set..

Been a while since I was on here last. Have not yet been out to see one but planning on taking some time next month.
There really aren't many around the £20k mark. Would I be right in assuming that if I did around £20k I would need to tinker a bit spend a bit more to get it to where I'd want to be?
Now I wouldn't be expecting a brand new motor for that kind of money. I understand a low mileage, LOW owner car with full dealer history in immaculate/show condition would probably set me back more than double that.
The more I think about it the more it becomes a no brainier really. It doesn't seem like the prices of these cars are slowing down and before long a shed needing £6-7k worth of work will probably cost £20Gs!
Difficult to gauge as adverts/pictures can only go as far so i bet the cars that haven't sold for months aren't as nice as described!
