BMW Warranty - Track Day Use?

Does anyone have the full BMW Warranty and use the car for occaisional track use?

I note the T&Cs state that once a car has been used on a track day it is no longer covered.

Any experience of this causing an issue in practice?

I understand the 'just don't tell them' suggestions, and similarly the 'how would they tell?' point. However, I wondered if there were any examples where claims had not been honoured because "your car has been used on a Track Day, Sir"?

I have been considering this as I do find the brakes wanting.

Is there an official upgrade available (BMW Performance?)?

From my reading, I haven't found proof that the main contender of Ferrodo 2500s are actually road legal(?) as there is a disclaimer on their website which suggests they do not meet the DoT standards.
