Feeling a bit giddy today as I have just put a deposit down on a CSL .
Hope to pick it up next week.. Have got a few little jobs planned for it already, Mainly getting a few things taken back to standard and possibly a brake upgrade, Can anyone recommend which brakes are the best (pound for pound) considering it will be mainly used for road use inc foreign trips and occasional track days.

Thanks guys, I very nearly bought one about 18 months ago but I bottled it at the last minute.. And have regretted it ever since.. I feel like its now or never as they are going up in price, and every year some get written off, or go abroad never to be seen again.... The car ain't mint yet but it soon will be by the time I have finished with it, Are Supersports considered the tyre of choice for non track work?
Thanks for all the advice guys, I have not been so excited about a car for a very long time, I intend to keep this car for a very long time with the intention of taking it as close to mint condition as possible, (whilst still using it the way it should be used)hoping to collect it later this week then a 250 mile drive home.
First job is to have the wheels returned to silver, Don't like the black on black, a bit too drug dealer for me.., Then get supersport tyres all round, then Im getting the alacantara wheel re-trimmed at royal steering wheels, Then the detailing begins, I wanna keep this car for a very long time and I want it as close to mint condition and oem as possible.
Just got home after an interesting drive back... The first hour was stop start in torrential rain,(Not a good way to introduce yourself to a new car with a new gearbox), Thankfully it dried up as I got north of Oxford, Well what can I say other than it is everything I expected and then some, It is happy just to tootle along without any drama, then it suddenly turns into an absolute animal with the flick of the sport button.. I absolutely am so in love S6 mode, I purposely left that little trick for the last part of the journey and boy was it worth the wait, The ferocity of the gear changes is simply mind blowing, and the car feels like it is on rails, The car itself needs a bit of money spending on it to bring it up to my ocd standard, But as the price was right as was the mileage 57k, I had already done the sums of how much approx will be needed to make it right, Iam already itching to get started on it, possibly even getting the wheels off tomorrow and dropped off for repaint to silver, Then a weekend of detailing inside and out, steering wheel re-trimmed, In a nutshell I have owned some very tasty cars over the years, and I already have a feeling that this car is going to be very very special, Watch this space for pics but only when I have her looking pristine, Anyone considering buying one sell a kidney if necessary just get one. Just gonna grab a well needed beer to help reminise about today.

Quick question for Glendog or Yanto or any CSL owner, I have a slight feeling the clutch may be starting to slip, Wasn't sure if its just in the slower SMG changes as I didn't notice it when in S6,Could be me just not used to SMG but I have a feeling the clutch is on the way out, Although Im buzzing so much I don't care if it is,
By the way I already love the SMG and seem to of got the hang of it pretty quick.
