Hi again this is directed at the usual experts of blown Mx 5's.
My HSK turbo equiped engine gets fed oil from the pressure sensor and then into the dipstick hole to return to the sump. I dont like this setup and want the return to feed back through the blanked off stub that is located just below the oil filter.
Any reason why not please?

Thanks lads some points to consider here.
When tapping into the sump the risk of swarf getting into the engine is too high but if the sump is removed at any time i can do it then.
Meanwhile I will use the existing blanked off hole beside the filter.

I have purchased a Mocal oil cooler system and am in the process of fitting it.

Am also using the heater pipes as additional cooling by running them through a front mounted rad as my kit car has no heater.

Hi folks, not been on for a day or two.

With your expert advice and experience I think I will drill the sump and do a proper job.
Believe it or not but my job is a toolmaker so drilling metal is err what I am supposed to be good at!

I assumed that the 19 mm bore hose round the front of the engine would take all the oil safely away.
