What to do after a bent wheel...replace...something new?
Discussion
Does anybody happen to have a spare (or full set) standard issue 17" wheel from a MK3 sport they want to sell? MX5 parts want ~£170 for a single replacement wheel.
Somewhere along the line one of mine has taken a smack and bent out of shape, resulting in some quite obvious vibration at track speeds. (And yes they are all perfectly balanced...just not all circular)
Unfortunately my wheels have all been painted a "unique" dark grey colour by a previous owner. So a single replacement will be obvious without getting them all a refurb.
So I could replace the lot, with some Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 (I like them in black), which is very tempting. Then flog the still round 3 wheels to cover some of the costs.
What would you do?

Get the bent one straightened.
Two mechanics have looked at the bend and suggested it's non repairable. I can stick the winter wheels and tyres on temporarily while a refurb or whatever is happening. I just dont feel like dragging a wheel around places for them to tell me it can't be fixed.
