Michelin PS3 is a good call. I think I was thinking of that when I saw the numbers conti tyres and went down the wrong road.

I can't find the Federals in a 205/45/17. I know I could probably go to a 215. But I don't want to. :P

Anyway the brand new wheels turned up and 2 had dings in. So took them back today. Wait another week for replacements.

(I buckled one of the original 17" alloys, so we've upgraded to something better and cheaper than a replacement OE wheel.)

Thanks for the replies chaps. The heart wants the Yoko's but the brain says the Michelin PS3 is probably the more sensible option. The car is better than the driver on track already. So a more road biased tyre for the wife's driving seems sensible. Cheaper too.

Well based on this thread, after I get the last 2 wheels back yesterday..(this was harder than I expected when ordering 4 off the shelf wheels). I orders 4 x Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Because..well why buy anything less.

Unfortunately it already bottoms out on the local speedbumps. The angle of the photo doesn't help either
