I know the best way to improve power/weight ration would be to reduce the driver, and that is work in progress, that said I would like to replace the seats on my recent purchase which will be used for sprints/hillclimbs next season. Actually the seat doesn`t have to be particularly lightweight but certainly no heavier than standard.

Car is a Mk2.5 2003 model.

I will be using harnesses so the seat will have to accomodate that, along with my big arse, I don`t want high sides so a full race seat won`t work and I would prefer it to be on runners so the wife can drive it but that is not essential.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you might be mistaking me for another fat bd as I never had a RS, but the Elise suggestion is good.

Thanks

Thanks Bob, That Sparco looks good, unfortunately there is no place around here, NE Scotland, where I can go and plonk my arse in a few seats to see what would suit me so I may have to take the plunge and just order one and hope for the best.
