Wife's NC just failed it's MOT requiring a bit of inner sill welding - all the major work was done a couple of years back, so thus really is a couple of small patches. And...

Rear shocks have 'catastrophic fluid leak' so the cost of a shock absorber being about £150, I thought why not fit a set of coilovers since we're in there.

I've heard good things about MeisterR, what'd you think?

It us my wife's car. She isn't quite as 'intense' a driver as we all are.

It seems like a good option. I have Ohlins on my Chimaera. They'd be wasted on her.

The rears are on. The fronts, the bolts are seized so a job for tomorrow.

Sitting a bit high at the back, so will adjust once all four are fitted.

Welding turned out to be a little more extensive...

11 years of Cornish salty air in Fowey and 16 years of winter driving in all weathers.

It's a summer car now. Taxed April to September. She can drive the Rangey Sport in the winter! biggrin

Fronts going on...

Yes, those are EBC discs and Yellow Stuff pads. Pads look like a job soon!

All fitted and adjusted. Need to do a few miles and perhaps readjust.

Not driven it yet, but the wife has and says it's handling better than before. And if she says so, it must be good!

It's sitting about where it was I think. A touch lower at the front perhaps. I'll take it for a test flight tomorrow.

I'm happy with the set up. It's set on the soft side which will suit my wife. Yet, it certainly handles much better than it did.

Yes, done as well.

I can report that the MeisterR are great for the money. They've transformed the car.
