paint not so glossy anymore

I was my 5 with autoglym but recently noticed when rinsing off the black paint is looking dull and misty as if it has a coating on it. Do I need to use that blu-tack stuff to take the old wax off?

Oh my god I feel for you guys. Mine has the swirling too, no paint flaking yet only on the bumper which I intend to get re-sprayed first. I think will use the clay bar first, have already got meguiars last minute detailing and that always works well. But will try the meguiars car wash. Autoglym does not lather up enough. I have just had battery replaced with a westco one yesterday from Griffins in bury, £80.50 and today have replaced the headlight rims and hammerited the boot as the condensation caused surface rust in the battery area. Just waiting for it to dry now. I thought everyone else's 5 was immaculate. Wish I had a garage!
