out of touch, anyone any idea what this is worth in the uk?
Discussion
I have to admit to being out of touch, not having owned anything american for almost 6 years now.
Anyway a guy has recently been in touch trying to set up a deal with me with his car in exchange for one of mine, but it seems like top money for a 68/69 camaro.
The guy said that it was previously advertised for 85k euros.. but is now reduced to 60k - euros.
Anyone got any opinion on Uk values of such a car...

just got out of hospital tonight and have done half an hour researching a few uk sites and the average prices seem to range from 13k up to around 26k selling privately for a nice v8 car with dealers closer to the 30k mark. That includes a few resto-mods as well. This was a 6cyl car originally too, not an SS.
So after consideration I think the car is well overpriced.

This was advertised on rod n sods about a year ago for £14000 in Ireland, was it dirt cheap then or a rip off now? you decide.
pretty much what I said, comparing recent dealer prices with private its about average for all the cars I have found for sale within the last 12 months - private cars are all sold...dealer cars are all not sold lol..This was advertised on rod n sods about a year ago for £14000 in Ireland, was it dirt cheap then or a rip off now? you decide.
