Cadillac CTS. is their any UK support. key fob issue.

I'm now on my second CTS. This time it came with no key fobs and only one key. I managed to buy two fobs in the U.S. But have since been told these will be useless as I have a UK car and the fobs for U.S cars and UK ones operate on different frequencies. To top it all off. I locked the car today and went to unlock it straight away. The button only came halfway up and activated the dead lock. 5 later and an auto locksmith and £90 lighter. I am now able to get in to to get into the car. I'm now leaving it unlocked as I'm wary of having the same problem again. Somebody please help.
