Well, not sure what led me here but most petrol heads can't seem to stop modifying.

I have decided to drop the 2.3L Magnuson Heartbeat supercharger and go for a bit more power (living in Germany now). Previously, the car laid down 774bhp and 896ft lbs at Surrey Rolling Road. It did have some fueling and spark limitations so there was potential for a little more power. Took it to pod and ran a 10.60@136mph (2050kg race weight) with the factory manual TR6060.

My goals are to still have a 10 second car but more tailored for high speed autobahn fun. The kit has already been purchase so now its on to the smaller stuff. Hopefully I can have it running by the end of winter and make a trip up to the UK in spring for a V8 meet.

I'll keep the current blower cam in: 230/244 .592/.595 118 LSA

Hi , sounds pretty mental................well done biggrin

Quick question, who tuned the magnuson , and who is going to tune the t t ?

Cheers mate
Well, the setup with the maggie was mostly tuned by Pat-G (Patrick Guerra) via remote tuning from stateside. I think the Maggie setup could have ran 9s. That was my only pass at pod and first for the year. There was still many adjustments to be made and no meth.

I only tinkered with minor adjustments. He may be doing the new map since I was happy with the way the car ran. besides, re-map is free with him.

Yes it will be able to run filters. I'm probably going to fabricate a skid plate to shield it from splash etc. Here's a link to the kit in action but using PT6262s. My engine is a little bigger as well.

Some updates on the build. The turbo kit has been shipped and should arrive anytime now. All supporting modifications along with fuel system have been installed and ready to go. Hopefully I can find time to install it in the next two weeks or so along with mapping.

Finished up the car and now running 16psi on pump fuel. Ridiculously fun to drive and already claimed a few victims smile

This is not an LS3 but I guess not too far off. It is a 416ci stroker cammed with ported heads and 10:1 compression (forged).

It is definitely pushing a bit more than 800 as I left a 777rwhp R35 GTR standing still the other night. Before when I had the 2.3L blower, it made 774bhp/896rwtq at surrey. It feels bit quicker now. Tonight I will be running E85 so I should be over 1K.

Stock LS is not a comparison as we don't know what been done to this engine. New heads cam etc can all increase the power over what the Stock motor will be making. Plus you don't know the compression of the engine.

No inter chiller on this thing as he is running a Propper air to air unit!
^^^^THIS. Comparing a built engine to a stock LS3 doesn't do much for estimates. I got ethanol on the car last night (about a 50% mixture) but the flex fuel sensor wasn't working. I made a few pulls to see how it likes 17 psi and it did not register any KR or ill effects.

Obviously this was on the petrol timing tables as the sensor was not switching the map. Once I get the sensor to work, timing tables will be aggressive and this bad boy will be stupid fast.

16psi. Running an M10 nozzle at the moment. I don't want to be driving around at 1000hp everyday so 14-16 psi will be for daily duty. On fun/ track days I'll bump it up to 20-22 depending on fuel

Well, now that I tried some E85 it is safe to say it will be running 20psi + when at events etc. Pulls like a freight train!

So finally got a chance to Dyno. Made 1155 to the rear wheels with 20 pounds if boost and E60 ethanol content. Similar numbers for TQ as well.

How much boost are you aiming for when running meth? Guys in the US are pushing WELL in to 20's on E85.
Hooks surprisingly well for the power. Toyed with a 2015 ZX14r last night on the autobahn and drove right past him after 130 ish

Yeah that's some killer power! Looks to come on boost pretty early from the graph as well!
Not much lag here. But boost does come in HARD! Drives well on the street too. You would never be able to tell what's about to hit you.
