Hi people, i have a 1996 lt1 camaro runs ok until until about 5 mins of driving, like the car is running on 4 cylinders , i have a random misfire ( jumps from cylinder to cylinder) straight through exhaust but a real fume smell from the exhaust , i have changed the following, leads, plugs, optispark, but!!! i have gone back on my notes looks like the 02 oxygen sensor i replaced was the wrong side, bank 1 sensor 1 02 sensor circuit high voltage, i replaced the passenger side but looked into this again and bank 1 is drivers side, DAM!! got one on order fitting tomorrow

sensor replaced and made no difference

Had a chat with Robin, he did say about coil and icm, but this was before discovering disconnecting the drivers side 02 and it runs fine, either the pcm is having a real funny one or the cable leading to it is broken at some point
