Hi,

If you'd seen my other post regarding getting a monster or a G shock, other Seiko alternatives were thrown into the ring over the monster! So let's see your Seiko's, please list model number as well if known. Also interested in some information on the modded watches!

Thanks

Also does anybody know a good Seiko dealer around Covent Garden? Thanks

I'm just about to buy a 007 from creation but I can't decide if I should get it on a rubber or get the bracelet for an extra £6 and buy a rubber separately.

I've read that the standard bracelet is not great so I wondered if it would be worth putting the extra £20 towards a wjean braclet? What are your thoughts guys? Thanks

I paid the extra to get it on an Oyster, as I already had a spare Z22 rubber strap. It's on a NATO at the moment while I wait for my WJean Super Oyster to arrive.. I wouldn't recommend the standard bracelet at all to be honest.
Thanks for the advice, let me know your thoughts on the wjean when it arrives. I will probably wear it on the rubber or a NATO 95% of the time anyway.

Here we go again.

My first seiko, ordered from creation and delivered in less than 48 hours.

It's keeping very good time at the moment, I have a couple of natos for it now as well. Think I need a few more, might find the nato thread for inspiration.

Clockworks please post up your seikos again, there was some really nice ones there.

Also could the person commented on storing them face up or crown up please post again. Thanks

Sorry chaps.

My fault. Apologies to anyone who has suffered from my post.

As I said, it was a last resort because I can't seem to post a classified ad, for whatever reason.

I had no intention of derailing the thread.
No problem gallardo, you have some nice seikos.

Iv just gone throught this thread, some very nice watches guys!

I noticed however, that I am the only one with this:

I got it for my 21st off my Mam and Dad, I love it! only thing is, I darent wear it anywhere in case I damage it.
Now ill admit I know nothing about watches, even down to this one.. I dont even know what model it is.
The only thing I know is its a Seiko

On the face it says, Sportura Chronograph and it has 8 Diamonds.
It has a black calf skin strap too.

But like I said, I love it!

Hope you like

Yes, thanks, I know of them but wondered if there was somewhere in the UK.
I couldn't find anyone in the uk that sell a 22mm sail cloth, but I didn't spend too long looking. I found some 20mm's.

Not quite the same but I like it, if you find some 22mm straps let me know.
