Rolex Cellini, what's the concensus?
Discussion
I wear a datejust every day-it's a tank & I'll never sell it.
However, I've been thinking about getting something a little dressier, something for nights out etc. & basically something I wouldn't necessarily wear everyday.
As much as I'd like to save up for a rose gold Daytona, it's a bit of a waste to sit in the safe week in week out never getting much use. So I started thinking about these Cellini ones.
Reasonable prices, wind up (I think?) so I don't need to worry about lack of use & rather showy for occasional use.
Are these things any good?

That's a good point I suppose yeti, car to post up some examples of dress watches that I might actually consider as an alternative?
I wouldn't say I can't look beyond a rolex, but truth be told (& I've mentioned it on here before) I've worn this watch for over 15 years every day & it has just never let me down. I only got it serviced as I fancied replacing the chipped glass. Like 'em or loathe 'em, they're bloody good watches & friends I have who are into watches always seem to have one thing or another being worked on in their collections, iwc, jlc etc.
I suppose it's a bit like other things in life (rightly or wrongly) if I want something for the kitchen, it's siemens, tv it's sony, seats for the car recaro.
I'm a marketers dream I suppose!

st the bed that is nice. Pre owned no problem, platinum or white gold would be nice-I got a platinum wedding ring as a yellow gold didn't look right against my rolex. It must, no option-MUST have or can be fitted with a brown/tan leather strap.
I quite like rose gold, yellow gold would also be nice for something different. Maybe a bi-metal would be bent to go with my ring (my only other bit of jewellery)?
