Anyone had any experience with these?

Look interesting but certainly aren't cheap. Look like they might solve a few of the issues I've had with leather straps.

I think Andy Tims has one....

From what I have heard and having owned many Hirsch straps (albeit different ranges) they do offer excellent value for money, so should be ok.

Chris
Excellent value for money? £70 seems an awful lot to me so they must be very good!

I've got a Hirsch Terra which was £40ish and I must admit it's very nice.

When you compare the prices of a strap from a dealer with a brand attached etc. then compare the quality, I think they offer good value for money.

Chris
Now you put it that way, you're right.

The branded straps are just laughably expensive.

I'll let you know what they are like, ordered one this morning to replace the one on my tag that is fubar'd. £70 seems a bargain compared to the £300+ that Tag want for a replacement
I'll be interested to hear. Been thinking about buying one for a while.

Thanks for posting, it certainly looks the part. Could you confirm the exact model (tiger, ayrton etc.)?

Good to hear it's a bit less 'sweaty' than a normal leather strap, that's what I was hoping you'd say. Does it feel well built? My worry was that the leather portion might feel a bit cheap.

I'm very tempted by the red/blue Tiger straps.

Cheers

That one is a 22mm tiger in brown with the matte steel buckle

It certainly feels well put together, the rubber part comes up around the side of the leather so protects it a bit more if that makes sense
Finding my bracelet to be a little too shiny for every day wearing. I keep worrying about it's extreme shininess attracting unwanted attention and am thinking a leather strap would help with that.

Thanks for your mini-review.
