Its gone. One min there, then gone.

I'm afraid it might have been user error and it got caught with something heading for the bin.

I'm very sad about that and wonder if anyone knows anywhere I might be able to find one? I have searched on line for days but I will try anywhere suggested.

With a thousand apologies to Marcos for not coming back to him.

My insurance company have rather irritated me. I claimed because I pay a fortune foe my cover and have been with the same outfit for years. Not a massive claim, but it's an insured loss.

Anyway, I was able to prove ownership of said Orca by sending them the only photo we had which shows the watch clearly on my wrist. I told them it was discontinued but I had done their work and a chap had one for sale. Seems they must check this themselves and then assess the coat of the nearest replacement in the Citizen range and pay me that value. In this case it was a bit less thT the cost of the replacement Orca but near enough. I have a £100 excess in this instance.

Not so simple though. If I pay them e £100 excess they will send me a £250 voucher to use in HM Samuel or Goldsmiths on whatever I like. If I say not to that they will reduce the payout to £160, less the excess and therefore send me £60.

I'm feeling a bit miffed about this. It's not massive amounts but they are very much take it or leave it. So, anyone else had experiences like this, at whatever figures and would you also be feeling miffed?
