Hi Guys

Thought I might share this with you. I wanted to change my Seamaster give it a bit of a lift, I trawled round various sites and really liked the blue rubber strap look, but not the OE Omega prices £400 for strap and clasp. I found a few OE on the Evil Bay but still big dollar. and really its only for hols so I still swim with it being rubber. On the bay I came across this American guy selling an Omega style blue rubber strap for £23 inc postage. So I thought I will take a punt on one. Ordered it on the Monday got it within eight days. The clasp I got from a German co on the bay for £8. What do you guys think

Paul

I think it looks quite cheap I'm afraid! Not as cheap as it is but it definitely doesn't look OEM to me.
The stitching might be a bit of a giveaway when you look close but when you look at it in normal circumstances you would be hard pushed to tell.

As you say Yeti it's only for the holidays just some thing different . If it was a permanant fixture I would have gone down the OE route second hand on the bay, but for what it is fantastic value for money.

The blue strap is the same blue as the blue dial. In all it's very blue

Great value.

I'm not sure I like the white stitching though. I think it would look better if the stitching was maybe a different shade of blue or even dark grey.
Yes the stitching is quite bright, but give it a couple of months with swimming and the sun it will tone down and look fine.

Yeah I agree, it will help.

I'm intrigued, has anyone put a PO on a Shark Mesh strap? O/t but?

Off to search the net too.
I have seen a guy did it on TZ watch talk. Looked good
