I have just entered the world of Rolex ownership, it was a gift from the family this weekend.
I am very very chuffed, so now i have a Rolex, any advice on what to do, how to care for it etc?

I have a couple of other watches (Seiko) but nothing as exclusive as this, i can't stop looking at it!

Will have to take some pictures of it too.

Relax, it's just a watch. Wear it and enjoy it.

Exclusive is probably the wrong word for it laugh

What model is it?
It feels very exclusive, especially compared to my Seiko's
Its the Date Just

Will Rolex polish it when it gets serviced then? Was only planning on wearing it for special occasions as was worried about getting scratches on it.
The bottom of my seiko's are all badly scratched due to the way i rest my wrists on my desk when typing at my laptop

Wow
Thanks chaps. I didn't realise they were so robust. I think I will wear it to work tomorrow now.
I was a little bored on the train home so had a read of the oyster perpetual date just sales literature. Certainly an incredible sounding bit of kit. Very proud to own one.
