Nothing fancy. I'm after a G-Shock as I need something hard wearing and, well, tough.
Had one years ago and that lasted well. Killed off in the end when the resin casing succumbed to too much hydraulic fluid (don't ask) spilt on it.
All I really need is the very basic features of:
Analogue display.
Date.
Waterproof.
Not a stupid neon colour. White is also out.
I know all G-Shocks will have those features so anything else is a bonus and a bit gimmicky, but at the same time not worth paying the extra for. That said, what other features have people found unexpectedly useful?
OTYG.......

I just purchased my first G Shock this week. What attracted me to it was the analogue display as this isn't the norm for this type of watch.

Bargain from eBay though I can't find the seller I bought from (£61), perhaps they are all sold out but it is this one:

That looks the bobby. Seems to get a lot of negative reviews though, for poor LCD grey-on-black illumination.
How d'you find it? (And don't say "I just look at my wrist and there it is")

Have narrowed the choice down to a GA100MC as that seems to have better LCD contrast and a canvas strap (I always find it's the strap on a G that fails first).
