Watch Doctor, Tring, for Rolex service?

Can anybody vouch for their abilities. It's a 2007 Submariner Anniversary which has become grumpy.

Does having them do the service reduce it's value at all as opposed to Rolex themselves doing it? I know Rolex do a full refurb on the exterior to supposedly as new appearance, but I'm not sure I want that.

Any rough idea of costs also?

I think that's decided it for me then, thanks very much for that chaps. I wanted somewhere I could visit in person and specify my own requirements and not be dictated to by Rolex, who seem a bit prescriptive in their approach.
