I took my watch off first thing this morning. Just put it back on and its stopped at 10PM. I thought these had a bit more power reserver than that :-/

Seems ok now. I think it was a result of taking if off first thing in the morning and then not wearing it all day. Fingers crossed.

Just to update. My watch kept stopping, and I guessed the main spring has snapped. I sent it up to a repairer and he confirmed the main spring had snapped. So he changed that. It still didnt run right. So he changed the escapement wheel. Fingers crossed its fixed.... should have it back soon.

The 8500 are really thick, I was looking at them last week.

Incidentally my watch has gone to Omega to be serviced. Long story.....

Looks like there was a fair amount of work that needed doing to it.

I suppose to keep the thread updated... someone might be interested as to the Omega service procedure and what happens.

Might as well have just replaced the whole movement by the looks of it.
