What do the collective experts think of this 1966 5513 Sub?

The dial is a service dial i think, but does it ring any other warning bells? it is head only for #3995

Were they all meters 1st in 66? The guys selling it won't confirm it is a service dial, in fact has not answered my email... And it's from a dealer with a bricks and mortar shop! I don't know there is just something about it that sets off my warning bells! I am not a Rolex expert by any stretch, I have only dipped my toes into air king territory.

If you look at my OP photo the hour markers (they prob have a special name, but i dont know it lol) are edged in white gold. The 60's sub you linked to and ED335d's dont have the white gold round them.
I dont think they got the WG rim till the late 70's or even early 80's as Hungry Hog says, but i dont think models/ parts were controlled back then in quite the same way as they are now, vintage Omegas can have cases/ dials/ movements made many years apart and be genuine factory built watches.

A genuine Milsub would be £100K+? So that is one of the few things about that watch I am certain of

Thanks for all the input guys, it sort of confirms my feelings, that it's is a legit watch but quite away off being original, tbh I am looking for a watch to use. Obviously not for doing the gardening but it's not going to be a safe queen, but that to me lacks the charm of a 5513...
I would rather have originality over condition, would £5k get a Maxi dial from a dealer?
