Hi,

Long shot but I lost my Seamaster last night in London. Not sure how - wonder if a pin from the bracelet came out and the watch fell off without my noticing.

Have called all the places I went to - no luck. I have reported it to my insurance, and logged as lost on immobilise website, but wonder if there are thoughts on either where to look if it comes up for sale (gumtree ?) or any other tips on finding it assuming someone has found it?

It's a medium size automatic version - model reference is 25518000 from 1999.

Thanks

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately after reading the horror stories) I think a pin might have come out of the bracelet allowing the strap to separate and the watch to fall off. I have not heard anything from the police - so doesn't sound like it has been handed in but I am relying on police finding it, checking the immobilise website and getting in contact.

In the meantime my insurance are being very good but has any one got any suggestions of reputable places to buy a 2nd hand version of this watch - is watchfinder.co.uk recommended ?
