Hello
Firstly I’m a mature old man who is quite capable of making his own mind up except in this instance …………..
I’m not a watch collector. I bought a Rolex Sub / date about 20 years ago . I wear it everywhere except work – I’m an Engineer in Iraq. My work watch cost me 10 pounds – sorry no UK Pound sign on my PC.

In December 2008 I bought a Seadweller . Quite fancied one , and bought it to wear .
In the process of buying it I found out it was one of the last made.
I stupidly put it away and have never worn it. It is new. Stickers , tags , everything ..
Out of sight out of mind ..
I have tried selling it recently to a few reputable dealers who offered me nothing like what I consider the current market value.
I tried eBay once and was flooded with stupid cash offers , people trying to offset my large eBay sellers fees by offering cash but at a reduced price.
Here’s my thoughts – bear in mind I think I know the answer anyway , I’m just asking for a more informed input from a collector maybe …

A/ Just wear it and enjoy
B/ Stick it back in the cupboard for a rainy day.

Your thoughts, please??

I am going with ellry’s and grumbledoak’s comment , when I get home on Monday
There is a thread running here – a guy deciding to buy a Sub or a Daytona.
On page two someone is wearing a Seadweller – that’s what started all this off.
Dealers offers ?? 3.8K to 5.0 K.
And yes I am aware of dealers having to make a profit / living.

Thanks for the replies.

I was a bit anxious putting this up as it probably makes me sound like a tit with 2 Rolex's ?

Firstly , no offence taken on your comments.
I agree with what most have said , and yes life is too short.
I'm not loaded by a long shot , but working in an outside toilet like Iraq does have only
one plus side.

I finish my Trip tomorrow , and will be home late Monday.
Tuesday it will be on my wrist.

Thanks for the helpful comments.
