Looking to purchase Rolex as presents for two of my children, one based in London the other in Sydney, Australia. Only interested in purchasing from an authorised dealer, would be nice to get a good deal........recommendations welcome....thanks.

Good deal on a steel sports watch. Not gonna happen.
Mmmmmmmm, not good, one of them needs to be a Submariner.

Done some homework, no price increases yet that I can see and no discount on steel sports as Master Bean has already said. Would be grateful if someone could confirm that if I purchase in the UK and take to Australia there will be no more duty to be paid........in fact, someone mentioned that I would be able to reclaim the VAT?

If you're buying from an AD, you'll be able to reclaim the VAT once you and the watches permanently leave the EU. There is a luxury goods tax and duty into Australia of c10% or so.

Cheers

Interesting because someone has just told me that I won't be able to reclaim the VAT if I have a GB passport.

That's rubbish. As long as you can prove that you reside somewhere else you are ok. I bought a Panerai 18 months ago. British passport but live in Abu Dhabi, just had to provide all the receipts as usual and my British passport complete with UAE Residents visa.
Just to clarify...........I'm a GB resident and will purchase in the UK and take to Oz for my daughter who is now an Aussie resident. Are you saying I can reclaim the VAT? Also, any knowledge of an import duty that may be charged?.....thanks.
