Hello,

As you can imagine, I'm in the market for a new watch.

Does anyone know of a watchmaker that produces watches of comparable quality to a Rolex or Omega, for around £500.

Not long ago, I almost bought a green submariner, as I loved the feel of the watch. In all honesty £6,000 is too much for me to shell out right now, it would be grossly irresponsible to do so.

The best watch I've owned so far is a gold Sturhling skeleton type watch, which cost me £150. It feels of decent quality and I enjoy wearing it.

I'm looking for a bracelet type watch, so something similar to a submariner, but not restricted to dive watches. I'm more concerned with the quality of the materials, rather than the movement, though I would like an automatic.

I like this one, as a variation of what you posted. I've not heard of the brand before, I suppose I've only really been exposed to what's in the shop windows.

This is good. Most of these watches look very similar to Rolex models. Is a Steinhart comparable in terms of quality?
