Anyone had battery change on Omega?
Discussion
So 4 months ago my battery went dead on my 300m. I sent it to a well known high street company. They told me it had to go off to Omega for a service as well as a battery change. This cost me £250.
Today, 4 months in the future from then, it is doing the indicatory low power movement of moving the second hand every 5 second instead of every second. This makes me wonder if it got service and the battery got changed at all? Did it even get sent off to Omega? Or did the shop just pocket the money? Not going to reveal who in this thread, incase it needs to go to court. Is it even worth it over £250?
I don't really know what to do from here on. I recieved no receipt from Omega, so I can't phone them with a ref number. Help!?
Ideally I would just change the battery myself. Is this easy?
