Chaps,
I've always liked reading £100k garage, so how about '£20k Wrist'? Your aspirational or actual collection...

Rules are:

  • Model & Price (new or used) and reason e.g. Work watch.., I love James Bond, future investment etc
  • At least 2 watches
Pictures would be good...

To get us started:
My £20k wrist :

1. Rolex Submariner: £5k Daily watch, 30th birthday present to myself
2. Nomos Ludwig: £2.5k: dress watch
3. Vintage Omega constellation: £500: for Goodwood revival
4. Tudor Pelagos: £3.3k: tool watch, messing about, diy
5. Steinhart Ocean: £300: holiday watch
6. Rolex Yachtmaster II; £4k: messing about in boats
7. Tag Heuer Carrera: £3.4k: driving

Over to you....

Agree with previous poster- need a lot more than 20k for a good 4-5 watch collection.
Classic Pistonheads.
Indeed, what these people need is some creativity and intelligence. If you can't find 4-5 nice watches for 20k you are seriously lacking.
One could argue the same with the 100k Garage...... I suggested £20k.. As I think for most this is a realistic achievable number...

They stopped making the movement a couple of years ago so supplies are starting to dry up. I bought my black one first from a watch forum member. I have a white one as well, which I got 2nd hand from eBay about 7 years ago.

Handsome watch, don't leave it in the barn. A new crystal, a service and a strap and you're away! The going rate on eBay for cleaned up ones seems to be about £450, with people trying for around £700.
Alex... Good advice... it is now out the barn! (Incidentally a nice dry barn)... It was in a box of my fathers effects, I think it deserves to be fettled. I remember my father saying it was a Russian space watch, but we thought he was having us on.. with it was a forgotten Dunhill Rolagas which needs a fettle too.
