What do the masses think of the Ulysse Nardin brand? Feeling the urge to buy a new watch with some of my Christmas bonus and like the look of the 950 Macho Palladium. They seem to vary wildly in price I guess based on the number of complications & the strap material, those with the metal straps are super expensive. At the cheaper end of their range its going to be 8-9K or a bit cheaper for a nearly new watch. I already have a Rolex Sub & a couple of Panerai so looking for something a bit different. Don't want to end up getting another Rolex although I do like the Daytona

I love mine.

I would say in terms of finish and quality in another league to Rolex, maybe some models are a bit questionable from a taste point of view.

You won't regret a UN I am sure of that.

Apparently there is a shop in Bicester that has some pretty great discounts.
Thanks Bicester is not to far from me, place is in Bicester Village I think.

I think the shop is "Time and Gems" or something like that. They may not have the latest models available as it is still an outlet shopping area and quite a few places there are just selling off last seasons lines etc. at discounted prices. However you never know and a visit would at least allow you to touch the products and get an idea of the quality and if you are happy to pay at that price point.

If you want a current model you should also speak to Dominic Hackett at Hackett watches:

www.hackettwatches.com

Dominic is a true gent and a PH'er and can obtain new watches at a discount thumbup
Didn't think of Dom, got my LV sub off him a few years ago.
