Trying on cheaper watches
Discussion
Hey folks
Looking for some advice, I've never been big into watches, more a money constraint than anything else but I would like to treat myself over christmas.
Mainly want to know the best way to try a watch on before I buy it, I know jewellers are more than happy to cater for the high end market and trying on before purchase is normal but I'm only looking in the £150-250 range (a seiko monster is the top of my list). Not sure if it's normal to just walk in and ask to try one on or if I'd be a bit of a brass neck for doing so. I've only ever had 2 watches so find it really difficult to get a reference of size from looking at numbers online.
Any advice is welcome

Would you buy a pair of trousers or a jumper without trying them on first? It doesn't matter whether you're spending £150 or £15000, it needs to be comfortable and the right size for your wrist. Any jeweller worth their salt should be happy to have your business and be happy to let you try it on first.
