Looks like a pin has fallen out a few links down from the case. Thank feck it fell harmlessly onto carpet...I could have lost the watch or damaged it badly.

I have a cheapo eBay watch toolkit with a plastic faced hammer thing...do I just need to order a pin and tap it in place? What am I asking for and where do I buy it?

Thanks

Guys

Thanks for the help. However when having a rummage around I found both my cheap eBay watch repair kit and a few spare links in the Omega's box.

So basically I put the tiny ferules in the two grooved inner links, and with a hammer and a very narrow punch thing (smaller than the hole) gently tapped one of the spare pins into place. The pin did have a slight, but even, curve to it before I tapped it in, which I assume helps prevent it coming out again.

It all seems fine and secure...is that it? Obviously I don't want to lose an expensive watch over a £30 bill from a jeweller, however if that's all there is to it then I'll quite happily keep my £30 thankyou...

Thanks in advance!
