Joe is very busy i believe...but always able to help . It took a year for him to track down the spare parts to repair this watch....but he kept looking and eventually got the old thing sorted. i was talking to my father the other day and he managed to find the original Jewellers receipt from 1976...a grand sum of £14.... It stopped working , after a few years of school age abuse , in around 1980 and has sat at the back of a drawer for the past 37 years...I have never been able to part with it and after finding it recently decided to have the old thing repaired....It turns out these old Sekonda chronos are quite a significant watch ...with an interesting history.

I agree...way over the top.....but decent 3017 movements regularly bring upwards of £5-600.....still a good return on £14....i will never sell mine....
