....seeing as though it seems to be on a roll!

Was looking through here earlier today and started looking at the SKX007 - looks a nice watch (not that I am 'into' watches as a rule)

But could someone explain the difference between a SKX007K and a SKX007J?

What's the advantage of having 21 jewels? (Told you I know nothing! laugh)

I guess for the extra $30, I should be going for the J?

And if someone could correct my dismal spelling in the thread title, it would be much appreciated biggrin

What is the significance of the 21 jewels? How does that make it a better watch?

Cool - been having a look at some others and I quite like the 009 too.

Sort of convinced myself that the rubber strap is what I want as I also have a stainless steel Tag, so rubber would make a nice change.

Thanks for the tips gents.

Still can't decide which one to get though. Seen this which I quite like but not sure if the NESW is a great idea?

From what I've read, that one is quite a new model and wears a lot bigger on the wrist than it's dimensions would have you believe.
Yes, that was a slight concern, as I don't have the chunkiest of wrists.

Will check out the 225.

There is no suggestion that the Malaysian watches are inferior, simply that theyre less desirable to an enthusiast.
To a horologist, yes - to the average punter like myself, it makes no real difference where it was made and whether or not it is Quartz.

Stick your thin wristed arms into your deep pockets and buy a nice Breitling or you're not going to fit into your new working environment biggrin
If I can stick it through on expenses, I'll get one. If not, no chance! biggrin
